Mariana Aylwin, former minister of Education and president of Fundación Oportunidad, visited the Center for Mathematical Modeling and met with Prof. Salomé Martínez, Education Laboratory Director of the CMM, to know about the iniciatives and projects they are working on.
During the meeting, they discussed about the Fondef Project of the use of videos for teacher-training and the development of b-learning courses for education practitioners.
“She has worked in education projects for pre-primary teachers, and has an extensive experience in working with instances using best practices in professional development, which is something we have been working on the CMM”, says prof. Martínez.
“We will take experiences they have in massify innovations in Education for our projects”, concluded prof. Martínez.
At the end of the meeting, former minister Aylwin visited the CMM-E laboratory and talked with the scientists and proyects profesionals who are working in these areas.
