Join the Center for Mathematical Modeling (CMM)  of the University of Chile & the UK’s Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC) for the second event in the Copernicus Satellite Data in Chile and Latin America: From applications to networking workshop series, to be held between November 30 and December 3, 2021.

Workshops will explore how Copernicus data is used to Monitor, Risk Assess and Mitigate Natural Disasters via a series of presentations from internationally renowned technical experts. The event will convene collaborative interest groups for future project development and identify research funding opportunities.

Thematic sessions will include:

  • Geohazards
  • Hydrological hazards
  • Wildfires
  • Meteorological hazards
