Jean Avan, CNRS research director and researcher from Laboratory of Physics: Theory and Models at Université de Cergy Pontoise, will lecture this three-session course on November 12th, 14th and 19th.

1: Introduction: Concepts of classical integrability: N-body systems
-Hamiltonian formulation
-Liouville theorem and extensions
-Lax formulation
-classical r-matrix
-Example: The Calogero-Moser model
2: Extension to classical field theory :
-Lax formulation, monodromy matrix, r-matrix
-Example: Korteweg de Vries equation
-Classical Inverse Problem.
3: Quantum Integrability:
-Factorizable amplitudes to QYB equation
-Quantization of monodromy matrices to QYB equation
-Quantum groups, spin chains.
