Director of the National Institute of Education of Singapur delivers talk about challenges for Education Reforms

“The 21st Century Landscape: The need for Strategic Education Reforms” is the headline of the public conference that the Director of National Institute of Education  (NIE) of Singapur, Professor  Lee Sing Kong, will deliver at the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences-University of Chile.

The conference will take place in Gorbea Auditorium  FCFM – U. de Chile (Beauchef 850, 3rd floor) on Monday, March 31, at 17.30 hours.

Professor Lee Sing Kong is invited in the context of Education Project of the University of Chile.

Professor Lee Sing Kong is a horticulturist by training and a Professor of Biological Sciences at the Nanyang Technological University. He joined NIE in 1991 and became its director in 2006. He has launched many key initiatives that has greatly impacted Teacher Education in Singapore and internationally. Prof Lee sees a quality teaching force as the key that can improve student learning outcomes, a view shared by other world renowned educators.
