Seminar of Modeling of Networks in Urban Systems: Transfering the methodological advances directly to the application

In this seminar will be shown the results of investigations that allowed: to formulate a model of public integrated transport, to develop a software with aptitude to simulate subsystems as the demand of transport, the model of transport adapts to network of telecommunications to control the congestion and to allow multiple simultaneous uses and to obtain patterns of trip and a model of evade payments. These works developed in the frame of the Program Bicentenary of Science and Technology of Conicyt, in interaction with the Transport Division of the Civil Engineering department and the Center for Mathematical Modeling of the Universidad de Chile, and the Complex Systems of Engineering Institute. Inside the out-standing results there appear new methods of analysis of the urban system, handling topics of location and transport. Those method analyses have been encased in computational packages or software that they allow its professional utilization, therefore a trascendental result of these projects was the development of technologies and the next transference.
