CMM Summer Courses for Teachers application close on December 9th

The Professional Development Unit of the Universidad de Chile Center for Mathematical Modeling presents its continuing training programs aiming to improve the teaching and learning processes at classroom, giving tools to primary and high school teachers.

Nine courses will be conducted from January 4^th to 15^th by CMM postdocs, scientists and professionals and they will be focused on problem solving, mainly.

The deadline for applications is December 9^th and all the programs has Sence code.

Courses for primary education

• Problem solving on Kinder and 1^st grade
• Problem solving on 1^st to 4^th grade
• Number and Operations axis through problem solving (2^nd to 5^th grade)
• Problem research and solving cycle on Fact and Randomness (3^rd to 6^th grade)
• Problem solving and Arithmetic for 4^th, 5^th and 6^th grade
• Problem solving and Fractions (5^th to 8^th grade)
• Problem solving and Geometry (5^th to 8^th grade)

 

High school courses

• Problem solving and probabilities (7^th grade primary school to 2^nd grade high school)
• Problem solving on high school
