CMM celebrates the 60th birthday of
Rafael Correa with three seminars

Tyrell Rockafellar, Roger Wets, Shmuel Orenwere the speakers at the afternoon on optimization and equilibrium, which commemoratedthe 60th birthday of Rafael Correa, DIM`s faculty and CMM`sresearcher.

The event, held at the Seminar Room of theCenter, was opened with the presentation of ShmuelOren, Earl J. Isaac Chair Professor at IEOR Department in UC Berkeley. The title of his talk was “Modeling and Computing Oligopolistic Strategic ForwardMarket Equilibrium in congested Electricity Network.”

The following seminars were conducted by TyrellRockafellar (University of  Washington)and Roger Wets (UC Davis) who talk about “Implicit Function and SolucitonMapping in Variational Analysis” and “Findings Walras Equilibrium:deterministic and Stochastic Environment”, respectively.
