The Centreof Excellence for Modeling and Scientific Computing of Universidad de LaFrontera (UFRO FCCC) in conjunction with the National Laboratory for HighPerformance Computing (NLHPC) of CMM invited to participate in the course”Performance Analysis of Parallel Applications”.
Theworkshop will be held from March 14 to 1, 2012, from 9.00 to 18.00 in theSeminar Room of CMM, located in Av. Blanco Encalada, 7th floor.
The aim ofthis activity is to improve the efficiency of the codes developed by thenational research groups using four tools with different characteristics: PAPI,Periscope, Scalasca and Vampir.
Inaddition, there will be sessions “hands-on” where each participantcan optimize their code and see improvements in execution times of intensiveHPC applications.

Theworkshop has no registration fee and will prioritize applications from NLHPC’spartner institutions.
