HPC School in Chillán

The University of Bio Bio and the Centre for Mathematical Modeling (CMM) made HPC School in the city of Chillán between 06 and 10 December 2010.

This workshop teached the following topics in parallel programming: MPI and OpenMP libraries, MPI-2 and MPI-IO, Evaluation of Performance, Profiling, among others.

In the School enrolled 45 participants from the Universities of Chillan, Talca, Concepción, La Frontera and others from Metropolitan Region. Among them, students who are pursuing the area of Basic Sciences and Engineering.
