Eureka Program Science Foundation for Life does not stop and this week looks surprisingly young and old with the magic of numbers in his throwing (www.canal–eureka.cl), the interactive “Expedition to the Mathematical Mind“ based on the Millennium Conference Dr. Carlos Conca, Civil Engineer mathematician at the University of Chile and National Science Award 2003.
Through this material, Dr. Conca attempts to show how math is present in all aspects of life and how it helps us understand the different phenomena of reality around us and the importance of training of researchers in Chile for scientific development of the country.
This interactive has, besides the talk, the author's biography, videos and animations that explain the research on mathematics in everyday usage. Each of these materials provides numerous educational tools for use in the classroom by teachers and students of upper secondary education and scientific area.
