En Metro de Santiago: Estudian mejoras en la eficiencia energética y bienestar de los pasajeros (in spanish)

CMM researcher Jorge Amaya and Roberto Román (Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering) explain in interview with the Colegio de Ingenieros Magazine, the research on energy efficiency applied to the Metro de Santiago subway system.

“With european funding, and support from the Agencia Chilena de Eficiencia Energética (Chilean Energy Efficiency Agency), research is carried out at the Center for Mathematical Modeling, University of Chile, about variables needed to optimize energy usage and improve comfort of Metro users.”
