CMM and JRI company developed a research to create a new dam for tailing disposal using rocks extracted from the same mine.
“Our work was focused, knowing the permeability of the wall that is built with this material, on calculating how much the tailing liquid will penetrate and, about that, we build a mathematical modeling that allow us to know what is the thickness and shape of the wall”, explains Carlos Conca.
